1. Know when to say no

It is very important to know when to say "yes" and when to say "no". These two simple answers can lock or open doors, place you in a pleasant or unpleasant situation. Positive people focus their priorities and if they see that something is not serving those goals, they try to reduce them as much as possible.

2. Create within a basis for happiness

People who have a positive state do not base their happiness on external stimuli. They realize that if they do that, when the external situation changes, their condition will change as well. Thus, they choose to focus their attention on internal sources of positive energy.

3. Devote a portion of time to relaxation
